I had a great time with Chad and Ashley at their St. Augustine River House wedding. The weather was a bit gloomy in the beginning but it turned out to be a beautiful evening. The guests were a blast to hang out with and had the dance floor rocking! Smiley Face Photo Booth was there doing their thing and the guests LOVED IT! We recently had the opportunity to once again work with Tonya Beaver Photography and cannot say enough good things about their work ethic and teamwork.  One of the challenges of working a wedding can be that each vendor has not only collective goals to accomplish but also personal goals.  It is vital that we all stay on the same page and communicate well.  Tonya and her team do a great job of keeping us up-to-date with their photo requirements and are very good about helping keep on track.

What a perfect day for a wedding! The weather was beautiful, everyone looked great and the party was a BLAST! Christopher and Amy was a fun loving, cute couple and very easy to work with. Held at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, their wedding day started with a quaint ceremony in the "Circle of Love" and was followed by a cocktail hour and reception where they had the room decked out in Florida Gator Blue and Orange. As a party favor they had Blue and Orange Jones Sodas with their photo on the label. this was a pretty cool idea and you can do the same at the Jones Soda website. It was an amazing party, wonderful families and reminded me of why I am so blessed to be a part of this business. Thank you Christopher, Amy and your families!!! - David Hanscom

Jacob and Whitney's wedding was held at the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.  Another beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony followed by a reception full of fun, laughs and lots of dancing.  They selected Red, Black and White as their theme colors which was pretty cool since it reminded of the good old Chicago Bulls days!  Kelly's Bloom Room did an awesome job with the flowers as always.  Thank you Jacob and Whitney for a great wedding! - David Hanscom

Getting caught up on some reviews today.  

We had a great time with Josh and Emily for their beautiful wedding at Crosswater Hall at Nocatee.  The ceremony was on the lawn out back and the weather could not be better!!!  After dinner, we kicked it up and the dance floor was jumping all night long.  Hector joined me to DJ while I was out on the floor keeping the group rocking.  As always, a great time!  - David Hanscom

I enjoyed another great event last night!  Tanya and Jake were married on what might have been the most beautiful day of the week at Palm Valley Gardens.  Immediately following the ceremony the photographer took a group photo which was something I have never seen done that way before but it seemed to work out really well and the guests were fired up right away!  The reception was on the back patio next to a large, beautiful pond.  I truly believe Tanya achieved her goal, a quaint southern style wedding.  We had a blast when the dancing started and everyone was on the floor from the flower girls to the grandparents.  Cheryl and the staff from Forever Sacred Events did an amazing job coordinating everything and helping keep things on track!  Check out Tanya's dancing shoes in the video! - David Hanscom

I had a complete BLAST tonight with Bree & Justin's St. Augustine Wedding. From the minute the first song came on their friends and family were up dancing.  The Young to the Young at Heart were all on the dance floor showing off their moves. Everything was held together and executed to perfection, as always by Sarah Grace, and the staff of The Big Event.

The White Room Staff did an amazing job with the food and atmosphere of the room. It was awesome to work with Jay and Alison again from Life and Love Studio Photography and Videography. They are a sweet and I am confident their photos will be excellent. It gives me great pleasure to be a DJ in Jacksonville and St. Augustine and to this disc jockey nothing is more rewarding than an ecstatic couple at the end of the night like Bree & Justin. I had a great time last night with David & Christina's wedding. We were at the beautiful Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine and the wedding kicked off with perfectly planned and executed introduction themed to U2. Christina's father gave an amazing welcome and tribute to his daughter. It was a blast, as always, working with Kris & Kate from Kris Graham Photography and Erin and the amazing staff at Casa Monica. Adam and Bethany picked a perfect day for their wedding. The weather was beautiful and their ceremony on the River deck of the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront followed by an amazing night of fun and dancing at the reception. The wedding party kicked off the fun right away with the "Entrance". Each one picked a silly, creative way to make their entrance into the reception. They were a cute couple and a BLAST to work with. Scott and Amanda had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine. There were so many unique aspects to their wedding starting with the First Dance which was "Rainbow Connection" by, you guessed it, Kermit The Frog! Sara Grace and the staff from The Big Event helped pull together a flawless event that was a ton of fun! I look forward to the photos captured by DHC Photo. - David Hanscom

Haley and Gilad had their ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. They could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding day. We started off with the ceremony outside on the River Deck. The sun was shining and barely a cloud in the sky. We then moved inside for the reception that started with a cute choreographed first dance, toasts and dinner. Following dinner the dance floor opened and did not stop until it was time to call it a night. They selected a unique combination of Modern, Dance and Israeli music. Gilad's family was really nice and even took the time to translate the lyrics from some of the songs. It was great to work with an awesome Hyatt staff (Todd, the bartender kept my water full all night, thanks Todd!!), Cheryl Raby with A Vow To Keep and Dan Harris from Dan Harris Photoart. Next stop for Haley and Gilad is Israel for a traditional Hebrew Wedding. I wish them all the best. - David Hanscom
